Suppliers shall take appropriate measures to ensure that these standards are maintained throughout\u00a0 the supply chain. The implementation and management of conflict of interest requirements are ensured through the Purchasing Procedure. Ensuring the necessary education, action and awareness for the efficient use of natural resources,<\/p><p>To certify the Environmental Management System of our suppliers, to use recyclable packaging at the maximum level, to reduce them from the source, to take measures to reduce carbon emissions and to ensure that contaminated waste is disposed of by authorized institutions,<\/p><p><strong>Water Quality, Consumption and Management<\/strong><\/p><p>Katmerciler\u00a0 A.\u015e.\u00a0 encourages\u00a0 responsible\u00a0 water\u00a0 management\u00a0 practices. Suppliers are expected to protect water quality, reduce water consumption, and manage water resources efficiently in their operations.<\/p><p>To prevent accidents at the source within the scope of occupational health and safety of our suppliers, to convey and follow up the necessary training and awareness to employees on the use of personal protective equipment,<\/p><p><strong>Responsible Chemical Management<\/strong><\/p><p>Katmerciler A.\u015e. requires responsible management of chemicals throughout the supply<\/p><p>chain.<\/p><p>Suppliers shall ensure the safe handling, storage, use, and disposal of chemicals in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.<\/p><p><strong>Animal Welfare<\/strong><\/p><p>Katmerciler A.\u015e. expects suppliers involved in activities related to animals to respect animal welfare principles and comply with applicable laws and internationally recognized standards.<\/p><p><strong>Biodiversity, Land Use and Deforestation<\/strong><\/p><p>Katmerciler A.\u015e. supports the protection of biodiversity and responsible land use. Suppliers are expected to minimize negative impacts on biodiversity, prevent deforestation, and manage land use responsibly.<\/p><p><strong>Soil Quality<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0Katmerciler A.\u015e. encourages practices that protect and improve soil quality.<\/p><p>Suppliers shall take measures to prevent soil degradation and contamination.<\/p><p><strong>Noise Emissions<\/strong><\/p><p>Katmerciler A.\u015e. expects suppliers to manage and minimize noise emissions resulting<\/p><p>from their operations in accordance with applicable regulations.<\/p><p>To protect all confidential data belonging to and to which Katmerciler A.\u015e. has access, including trade secrets, knowhow and financial data, and to ensure data security and to support Whistleblowing, to prevent counterfeit parts from being delivered to the customer, Katmerciler A.\u015e. supports whistleblowing mechanisms and is committed to protecting individuals who report concerns in good faith.<\/p><p><strong>Disclosure of Information<\/strong><\/p><p>Katmerciler A.\u015e. expects transparency and integrity throughout its supply chain. Suppliers shall disclose accurate, complete, and timely information regarding their business activities, sustainability performance, and compliance with applicable laws and requirements.<\/p><p>Any form of retaliation against individuals reporting unethical behavior, legal violations, or non-compliance with sustainability requirements is strictly prohibited.
