Katmerci: We are proud on behalf of our country and our sector

In the statement he gave upon publication of the results Mehmet KatmerciChairman of the Board of Directors of Katmerciler, stated that they have pushed the bar of success even further each year of their participation in this event in the three years since the company went public, and added “We are proud of our three years of consecutive successes, not just as a company, but also on behalf of our country and our sector.” Reminding that the company went public in November 2010 and started to be traded in Borsa Istanbul, Katmerci went on to add:
“In the vehicle mounted equipment sector we are the only publicly traded company in Turkey, and only the third one in the world. As a publicly traded company we always placed great importance in our communications with our shareholders. Especially, we show great care to ensure an open and transparent relationship with our investors. In preparation of our activity reports we did not contended ourselves with meeting a legal obligation; rather, we try to develop works which will reflect our corporate culture, present our vision, carry our message and add value to our brand in national and international scale. In the past three years following our company’s going public, we continuously participated in “LACP Vision Awards” event, the biggest activity report competition of the world with the largest participation numbers. Our consecutive successes in these three years show that our efforts in this regard are on an internationally appreciable level. We pushed the bar of success higher every year. This year we managed to carry the bar to the top, taking the first place in Europe, Middle East and Africa Region, and the seventh place in the world. In our own category, however, we didn’t leave the first place of the world to anyone else. In addition, the fact that we received the award of the most innovative activity report not just in Europe, but also in the world has a special meaning for us in proving the innovative and creative character of Katmerciler. In conclusion, we achieved an extraordinary success in winning three platinum awards at once with our Year 2012 Activity Report, leaving many large companies from Turkey and around the world behind. I heartily congratulate all members of our team who made this success possible.”
