League of American Communication Professionals rained awards on Activity Report of Katmerciler

Winning a ‘Platinum’ award second time by being the global sector leader, Katmerciler took the 18th place in global listing, and 10th in Europe

After going public in 2010, Katmerciler, the leader of vehicle mounted equipment sector in Turkey, was again elected the global leader in its own category with its “2011 Activity Report” and won the “Platinum” award for the second time.

The report prepared by CC Iletisim managed to earn 99 points out of 100, taking 18th place among 5,500 nominees in global listing, and taking 10th place in Europe, Middle East and Africa Region.

Taking the second place among almost 20 Turkish nominees, Katmerciler was also won a Platinum award in “Most Innovative Activity Report” category in Europe, Middle East and Africa Region, and a Silver award in global listing.

As the leader of vehicle mounted equipment sector in Turkey and the only representative of its sector in stock market (KATMR) Katmerciler achieved another international success with their 2011 annual activity report as they did with their first activity report.
Katmerciler won the “Platinum” award for a second time by taking the first place in “Machinery, Vehicles and Equipment” sector, just like the last year. In the competition where over 5,500 nominee reports from many countries competed against each other Katmerciler took 18th place in global listing and 10th place in Europe, Middle East and Africa Region.
Managing to take the lead from among many Turkish nominees who are among important brands of Turkey, Katmerciler took 2nd place among almost 20 Turkish nominees with their 2011 Activity Report, as well as winning a Platinum award in “Most Innovative Activity Report” category in Europe, Middle East and Africa Region. Katmerciler also won a Silver award in global listing in this category.
Other Turkish nominees beside Katmerciler included Akbank, Akfen GYO, Aktifbank, Albaraka Turk, Anadolu Sigorta, Arcelik, Garanti Bankasi, Kartonsan, Pinar Süt, Sekerbank, TAV, THY, Turkcell, Turk Telekom, TUPRAS and Yapi Kredi.
In last year’s competition Katmerciler had won 59th place in general global listing and 29th place in Europe, Middle East and Africa Region with their “2010 Activity Report”.

Life with vehicle mounted equipment from the eyes of the children

2011 Activity Report of Katmerciler, which earned 99 points out of 100 and to which the competition judges referred to as “innovative, perfect, impressive”, was prepared by coordination of CC Iletisim, who also provides communication consultancy services to the company. The report which calls attention to the role of vehicle mounted equipment in fire fighting, garbage collection, tankers, dumper trucks, septic tankers, rescue, canal opening, road cleaning, etc. in ensuring a healthier, safer, cleaner and better quality of life attracts attention with its extraordinary and impressive visual effects and design.
Enriching the vehicle and function information with fun drawings from the eyes of children, the report carries the message “Worth for our children” on the front cover, while on the back cover it carries the message: “Children have dreams, and adults have ideas. Our ideas must serve their dreams.”
In addition to 2011 activities and performance of the company, the report also details 2015 objectives of Katmerciler.

Commenting on the results Mehmet Katmerci, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Director and General Director of Katmerciler said that they are happy and proud with these two years of consecutive successes, following the company going public.
