136 % export, 97 % net profit, 88 % income increase from Katmerciler

The company which increased its sales income from 31 million liras to 58 million liras and its export from 11 million dollars to 26 million dollars with respect to the first half of the last year, doubled its net profit by increasing up to 4 million liras

Katmerciler Arac Ustu Ekipman AS (KATMR), which is the leading company and the only stock market representative  of the vehicle top equipment sector in Turkey, announced the financial results of the first half period. The company obtaining a significant rise in almost all of the balance sheet items with respect to the same period of the last year, succeeded to double its profit in the first half of the year.
Katmerciler which increased its consolidated incomes up to 50 million 865 thousand liras by the 30th June 2012, performed a rise at 88% rate with respect to the same period of the last year. The consolidated income of the company within the same period of the last year was 31 million 336 thousand liras.
The export performance of Katmerciler was so effective in this income rise. The company which performed export at the amount of 11 million 128 thousand dollars within the first half of the last year, obtained an export income at the amount of 26 million 326 thousand dollars within the first half of this year. The export share which was 56% among the total incomes within the related period of the last year, increased up to 85% within the same period of this year.
In parallel with the income rise, also the net profit of Katmerciler experienced a significant rise. The January-June 2012 period net period profit  after tax of the company became 4 million 48 thousand liras with a rise of 97% with respect to the same period of the last year. The net profit of Katmerciler within the first half of 2011 was 2 million 52 thousand liras.
The total size of assets of Katmerciler by the end of the first half became 132 million 217 thousand liras by increasing at 12% rate with respect to the end of 2011. The shareholder’s equity of the company by the end of the first half became 35 million 179 thousand liras by increasing at 18% rate

Katmerciler General Manager Mehmet Katmerci, stated that the company which completed the 2011 year in accordance with their targets and anticipations considerably, obtained very successful results also within the first half of 2012. Katmerci, emphasizing that Katmerciler continued its healthy and steady growth, said that ‘we are very pleased for the increase of the total incomes and profitability with the contribution of the export incomes especially obtained from the external markets’. Katmerci also stated that:

We presented a very good financial statement to our investors and shareholders by increasing our incomes 88% and our export 136% and doubling our net profit even in this extraordinary period. As a company which focused on the external markets and became the leading company of its sector  by exporting to over 41 countries through the target of becoming an international trademark, having increased our export incomes at this amount, intensifies our confidence for the future. We continue our activities for reflecting a similar performance also in the second half of the year and increasing our profitability.’
