Water Tanker
The water tanker is designed to transport and transfer water with the help of a pump and, when needed, to spray roads. The water tank is manufactured from sheet metal of suitable thickness or stainless steel in elliptical, cylindrical, or “D” cross-section. A sufficient number of baffles are placed inside the water tank. There is a manhole with a 500 mm diameter on the tank. A vent or transport pipe is installed from the bottom of the tank to prevent water loss when the tank is fully filled. The tank is equipped with a level gauge to indicate the water volume. A catwalk is placed on top of the tank, and a ladder is mounted at the rear of the tank for access. The tanker chassis is connected to the vehicle chassis with plates at the rear and a flexible joint at the front. A single-stage centrifugal type pump is used on the vehicle.

The pump is mounted on the side of the vehicle chassis for easy access and is driven by the PTO. The PTO is controlled from the vehicle cabin. Water filling can be done through the top filling cover on the tank, either directly by natural flow or via an external source connected with a hose. A road-spraying system can be installed at the front of the vehicle if desired. A 1" – 20 m hose with a flange at the end will be wound on a hose reel placed at a suitable location on the vehicle.
